Who We Are

Battleships Online is a small, independent web project built by people who grew up playing the paper-and-pencil version of Battleships on long car journeys and rainy afternoons. We wanted a place to play the same timeless duel in a browser — without downloads, accounts, pop-ups, or apps that nag you for permissions.

So we built it. The entire game runs right here on the site: your fleet, the enemy fleet, every shot and every sunk ship is handled instantly in your browser. There's no server keeping score and nothing to install.

What Makes Our Version Different

• Faithful rules. The standard five-ship fleet (Carrier, Battleship, Cruiser, Submarine, Destroyer) on the traditional 10×10 grid — no gimmicks or pay-to-win twists.
• Truly instant play. The page loads fast and the battle starts immediately. Refresh and a brand-new random battle begins.
• Beginner friendly. Our How to Play guide teaches the rules and real strategy, so first-timers and veterans both get something out of the site.

Keeping the game free means the site is supported by advertising. Ads are clearly separated from the game itself and never interfere with play. If you ever see an ad that seems broken, intrusive, or inappropriate, please tell us through our contact page — we take that feedback seriously.
